Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist | 40+ years of clinical experience

I’m Lori Sova, a licensed speech-language pathologist with extensive experience supporting children and young adults with speech sound disorders, motor speech challenges, language-based learning differences, autism, and executive functioning needs.

My approach is strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming, and highly individualized. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all path to communication, and therapy should honor each child’s unique profile, interests, and ways of learning.

I am committed to creating a supportive environment where communication feels meaningful, functional, and empowering for both children and families.

Sessions are collaborative and functional, with a strong focus on motor planning, language organization, and meaningful communication in real-life contexts.

I partner closely with families to ensure skills are supported beyond therapy sessions and generalized into daily routines.

1,2,3 Speak to ME! is a neurodiversity-affirming speech-language therapy practice providing individualized services for children and adolescents with communication differences.

We support children with speech sound disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, language-based learning differences, and neurodivergent communication profiles, including autistic children.

Therapy is strength-based, evidence-informed, and focused on functional communication, confidence, and meaningful participation across home, school, and community environments.

Services are provided in Reisterstown, Maryland, with teletherapy options available when appropriate.

What Makes My Approach Different

My therapy approach is neurodiversity-affirming, strength-based, and responsive to each child’s needs. I integrate motor-speech principles, language development strategies, and cognitive-communication support to help children grow their communication skills in ways that feel authentic, functional, and meaningful.

Sessions are individualized, playful, and focused on building confidence while supporting long-term growth. I collaborate closely with families to ensure skills carry over into daily routines and real-world communication.

• Neurodiversity-affirming and child-led
